OpenDance project aims to:

• Increase the functionality and interactivity of the WebDance learning environment
• Enhance the attractiveness of traditional dance learning interactive 3D technologies
• Broaden the teaching resources on traditional dances in Europe
• Create an on-line traditional dance learning community
• Evaluate the use of ODL tools in multicultural dance education
• Offer a unified way for learning traditional dances
• Contribute towards the development of the concept of a common European heritage
